I currently serve as the Vice Minister of Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia. Before that, from 2002 to 2014 I was with IKOHI, a national association of victims of human rights violation. I was the Chair of AFAD, a Philippine-based Asian Federation Against Disappearances from 2006 to 2014. From 2015 to 2019 I was with INFID. Speaking at the International Christian University (ICU) Tokyo on Enforced Disapperances
On January 25, 2011, I had a presentation on the Phenomena of enforced disappearances in Asia and the Convention on Enforced Disappearance at the International Christian University in Tokyo, Japan. The Forum was organized by the Rotary Peace Fellow student. About 25 students attended the forum. Sharing and discussion were also taken place, with some participants shared their opinion and questions on the experience in Indonesia, Nepal, the Philippines, Kashmir, Thailand and some Latin American countries.
